Worked great for a while, then broke

Nice little pump, does what it promises. I bought this pump to drain 2 feet of water from my pool that has leaves and dirty water in it. It worked fine for a while and then it made a strange noise. I looked through the holes in the pump housing mesh and saw that a round black gasket was protruding from the bottom of the pump and the bottom of the pump was moving when I turned on the pump. Well, Site Drainer's best customer service is any product I've purchased. Just got a replacement and am…

Good installation

I have not used this pump yet. Looks like a good product with a built in float that sits behind the shielding material. My initial feeling is that this pump should have a 2 inch outlet. I'm also worried about my earthmoving company's plastic case. We've got a lot of water this year so I'm sure I'll be using this thing many times and posting more about it. If you look at my photo you can see a two dollar fix I installed from a local hardware store. That way you can use a string if you need to…

So far so good I'm very happy

I have a garden that gets flooded when it rains heavily and floods our house on the stove. Due to the terrain we have no choice but to pump the water from the yard using an outside drainage system and drainage pump. The problem is that the drain pump we had often got clogged with leaves and grass, greatly reducing its pumping capacity, leading to flooding. We haven't had any clogging issues since installing this pump, and the pump has survived some heavy rains, although I'm not sure it will…

Fantastic pump suitable for drain pumps

I had a knee deep + deep water situation in the area of my new home. After reading the reviews I stopped at the plumber's website. The options for different drain hoses included in the box meant I could choose the type of hose I wanted to use and didn't have to waste time at the hardware store looking for adapters to get it working. For the website I used a 25ft swamp. Pump Booster Kit (about $15 at Lowes) with hose clamp included. I left the hose in the hole and took the pump out to clean. It…
