Normally it cost over $400 and require 3 hours book time to use following the factory procedure. Using our tool this can be done in about an hour. Unlike the factory method, our tool does NOT require removing the radiator, fan, and shroud. Replaces OE# 303-761. Engineered and manufactured specifically for the repair environment.

    Efficient Sleeve Installation tool

    This tool was a great addition to my automotive tools. I was impressed with its efficiency when I used it to install sleeves. It was easy to use and saved me a lot of time. The only downside was the price, but it's worth it for the quality.

    Poor quality wear bushing.

    Plumber and seal look good. Poor quality wear bushing. It's very rough and looks like it has some corrosion on it. I can't use a spare sleeve.

    gotta admit. works

    I did not remove the heatsink, fan or cover. My truck does not have a rear engine cover. I simply removed the crankshaft pulley with a Dewalt demolition tool, unscrewed the five 10mm oil pump cover bolts, and then cut off the old wear sleeve with a dremel. To install the new wear ring, I heated it with a propane torch and placed it in the tool, tapered side down, so it would face forward when installed. Then I rapped with a two pound mini sled only a few inches apart! I then polished the new…
