The Copperhead reduces the power going back to your hand, so it's an option but costs more; If you have a large tent or need to tie in a lot of pegs, take it and save your hand. A stylish hammer from Japan
High quality Japanese steel and copper are ideal for driving Snow Peak tent stakes into the ground. I also like the fact that there is a catch to retrieve the Snow Peak missions.
Not a very heavy hammer but heavy enough to work with and carry around. A big plus is the loop that easily and securely holds the hammer in your hand. Pulling out the stakes is also very useful. Recommended for large tarps as they are easy to carry and serve multiple functions.

The copper head definitely makes a difference when it comes to directional power, and its lightness and efficiency has enabled a whole new level of bearing setup helpers, eliminating the need for a heavy sled even in difficult and rocky terrain. It's not as loud as the rattling of two metal pipes, and the shape is unique. The brass head WILL be affected by any impact…
