🔧 Blum Soft-Close BLUMotion Clip Top Inset Hinges - Ideal for Frameless Cabinet Doors with 110° Opening Review

This was my first installation of Blum Inset hinges and I was impressed. I bought a Kreg jig for hidden loops and it worked fine. The setting options with which you can fine-tune the position of the door are very good. I will use this again!

Arrived on time as expected - I was spoiled by our soft closing cabinet doors! Note. I ordered less than I needed but we managed to get by with just one soft close hinge and one regular hinge with great success!

Good price compared to other sites and just what we needed. We have a cabinet that contains two installed flat screens that fold out so we need doors that fit into the frame but when open leave the width of the frame open for the TVs to slide out. It is easy to open and open doors when needed.

There are no better hinges for a frameless cabinet with hidden hinges. Incredibly smooth action. I would suggest looking for a breaker on Bloom's website for instructions and sizing. I highly recommend doing a test build if you've never made a European hinge (just to make sure - ;)

There are many cheaper options but none can match the quality of Blum hinges. The ability to toggle soft close on and off is a surprisingly great feature. Used on the door of a smaller first aid box and with just a gentle close on a hinge the door closed perfectly. The three-way adjustment is a lifesaver when installing interior doors.

I used to build a kitchen using Blum soft close hinges. This was not easy as the hinges, panels and decorative covers had to be purchased separately. This included everything which was very helpful. I will say that I wish the panels were thicker because I had to modify with spacers to fit a 3/4 inch door insert in the closet. It is possible to buy thicker sheets directly from blum.

I bought these hinges for a dressing table I made myself. I noticed people saying they were difficult to install, when I first installed euro hinges they were the easiest part of the vanity. The only thing I want to adjust about them is when the soft close catches. It starts to close gently with the door still half open, wish it was 3/4 closed or even more. However, I now buy more online.

Blum hinges are 5 stars, but I'm deducting a star because some screws were missing to attach the panel to the cabinet. I ordered two packs. There were two hinges in each package, but only two screws were needed to attach the panels to the cabinet wall. There should be four screws. Since these screws require a #2 screwdriver, I wanted to use the same type of screws. I found a few screws throughout the house, but they were shorted out more than needed. Only time will tell if the hinges stay…
