I think the people who said it was crispy in their review probably didn't wash theirs before putting it on the bed. I washed mine and right out of the dryer it was very wrinkled. I'm not the type to iron my sheets so I didn't and just threw them on the bed. Even if I had ironed it I don't think it would be very crispy without the starch.
