Only complaint is that the helmet comes so that in order to use it you have to take it apart to fully remove the protective film. Honestly I've looked at a lot of welding helmets. There's a lot of inexpensive welding helmets out there with zero quality. This does not seem to be one of them. Works great and has all the features of a helmet costing 5 times as much. I am a self employed welder fabricator. This does everything I need.This is several months after the first part of my review. The helmet still works great. I had a blue one before this orange one for more than a year and it never had any problems until I left it in the wrong place and shut the shop door on it, the glass just doesn't bend that good. The helmet seems good for a low cost helmet, but it was delivered with no operators manual, and the sticker on the lens cracked the lens when I pulled it off.

I got a Miller helmet with the MIG I bought, and it gave me nothing but grief. This one has worked flawlessly, larger viewing area, and I like the grinding setting on it too.

The headgear broke immediately as it was made out of cheap brittle plastic. That being said I still use it and it works what else can you say for the money.

I used this for welding and grinding and so far exceeds my expectations. The digital display that controls the screen has preset options for welding and grinding. Just remember to change presets to the work you are performing. The viewing area is large and the true color really helps over the old green screen models. I find the adjustments for my head to be adequate. You will not go wrong with this helmet.

Have not finished setting it up , got the head piece in and adjusted to my rather large head ,it actually adjusts out much larger in hat size ,I was surprised I normally have a tough time finding hats and helmets to fit I wear between 7 7/8 to 8 1/8 . I like the design, but awkward once assembled, the side adjustment knobs. If tightened stop movement, if loosen , does not not stay in place properly, so loosen open tighten, close tighten.

I have been using this DEKO welding helmet for a couple months now and it works wonderful for the TIG and stick welding that I do on a regular basis. I've been using this Deko Welding Helmet for about two years now and I've only had to change the battery once. Also, I've got a pretty good size melon on my shoulders. and it fits great! All I do, as far as regular maintenance, is wipe the slag and debris off of it, every now and again. However, I do check for spiders EVERYTIME I wear it, lol. I read the reviews for this helmet and it was a toss up. Some said it was junk others liked it. Well I am a production welder and I think it works great. A lot better than my Lincoln. The fgield of vision is much bigger. Had no problem with settings it’s pretty easy to figure it out. Half the price as my Lincoln and a better fit for me.
