This is not what is in the photo or description, this is not a southern cable, it is a different brand, claiming to be made by a cable from the south. Made in the USA, not Indonesia.

I bought this extender because it is listed as Made in USA. I received it today and it's Made in China. Misleading ads on the front page! Don't buy this!

I ordered an American made Southwire and received this Indonesia made universal cord instead. Buyers be careful, you most likely will not get what you think you are ordering. It does not match the picture or the description of the item in the listing. To return.

I bought this because it was said to be made in America. No, that is not so. The item I received does not match the description or picture. This is a universal cable sold by Southwire and made in Indonesia. I should have read the reviews first. It annoys me that Revain knows they are promoting the wrong product they are selling, but they do it anyway. mine is back!

This is terrible. I received two 50ft extensions today and they are not Southwire. They are also not made in the USA 🇺🇸! They are made in China 🇨🇳. I am very upset about this. They will be sent back promptly. I was really excited to have American extension cords. Instead I have to look elsewhere. PLEASE FIX THIS ON AMAZON!

Just received on 6th December 2018 Southwire 12-3 made in USA is listed under No. Instead a Southwire 12-3 Pro-power with the inscription "Made in China" . This is a nice heavy cord. The packaging is different but the cable is the same. I'm still returning it as I bought this one because of MADE in USA and ordered another 50ft Southwire contractor 02548-USA1 Class 12/3 with USA made Lighted End extension. This cable is made in China. Having photos of a product that says it's made in the USA when it's clearly made in China is misleading if not downright fraudulent. Revane clearly has no idea what to do with other people's situations. They need to review their inventory and remove Chinese-made cables or remove photos that falsely advertise US products. I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

China-made cable preserved. Not the same package or part number as in the product description. As others have said, misleading sending of something other than described. Contacted the manufacturer to try and fix the issue as Revain was unable to supply the correct item; no satisfaction or remedy received, only an acknowledgment. I will never buy a Southwire product again. UPDATE: I contacted Southwire on Facebook and they sent a replacement either from this review or a Facebook request.

Update 8/6/18: I've only used this cable 3 or 4 times and it's already starting to to take care and knot when I fold it back after use; My guess is that this cord was primarily intended to be pulled straight out and never moved during use, as opposed to the constant moving, tugging, etc that comes with using it for gardening around the house. . ********** ********** This product is thicker and heavier than expected and a larger size than I need for home and garden.
