their range was not very good. They played with them for about 2 weeks and they broke. I would invest in real ones instead.

Great gift for kids. It's not super high tech, so you don't have to worry about them finding another frequency that other people are using. Give this to the kids for a wedding so they can have fun too!

It's great. So easy to use. Our kids 4 and 6 love them. We haven't tested the range yet. My only issue is how easy it is to keep them on as the power button is the same slider that controls the radio channels so your kids will definitely accidentally leave them on, but at least AAA batteries are easy to find.

My 5 year old loves it. A 2-year-old child cannot press the button alone. They work great. 3 channels to choose from. There is no call button. You must wait for one to finish so the other can speak. There can be a slight lag with this back and forth compared to what we've noticed with other walkie-talkies. But they are great for kids! Also durable. I don't think they will break.

It's really fun and there's a lot to choose from for a child's toy. My son's friends live about 1/4 mile away and yet the boys can talk about it from the comfort of their own home. There are 4 frequency bands and a call button. They are a must have for any SPY kids collection. The only thing I don't like is that they completely drain the batteries!
