Tried to close an IKEA filing cabinet with this. It's very pretty, but thinner than your regular "contact paper" and doesn't stick as much. Good for flat surfaces, but doesn't hold up well when you try to wrap corners. I tried the heat trick suggested with the instructions but it didn't help. I was a little disappointed.

It only gets an extra star because the finish is pretty decent if it can be glued. That's the problem. Sound is just terrible! It doesn't seem to matter if the surface is super smooth, dry, dust free, etc, it peels off easily on every surface I've tried. Tried to return it but missed an opportunity (my bad one) so guess I'm glad I didn't pay more than a few bucks for this roll of glorified wrapping paper. 🙄

I bought this on a flash sale. This is somewhat to be expected given the price, it's not the best type of contact paper. But since I only have to pack the dishwasher, I didn't mind trying it out. I used to use contact paper on my bathroom cabinets (dc-fix) so I can see a difference in quality that affects application.
