My Dogs Favorite Mix

My Standard Poodles wait for dinner until this piece is sprinkled over their dry food. If I don't put it in right away, they sit and wait while I add mixer for chicken meal.

  • Best
Cons
  • Incredible Piggy Bank

When did they get so heavy?

They used to be so easy to sprinkle on my dog food but the last three packets were like trying to crack a nut. Dissatisfied with the last three games. Too heavy! They should "crumble" and not break your fingers!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Very expensive

Keep sealed in a plastic bag to keep fresh and soft.

My pet loves Chewy's treats. I crumble them over her normal meal and she doesn't start eating until they're gone. Then she cleans her bowl. She seems to be much healthier with freeze-dried raw treats.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Hard to say

Dolls just pick them

They're really delicious, but they're *too* good to mix with food. Puppers simply pulls them out of his bowl, like mascot marshmallows, and leaves the rest of the pieces where they are. They are good treats but too big for my 30 lb sheltie.

My dogs love this freeze dried

I have used this to get older dogs to eat and it has worked well. Two of our 15 year olds died and I had half a bag left. We adopted a puppy from our shelter and I cut him in half for a training treat. She's a fast learner and I think that's partly because she knows she's going to have fun!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

It's our brand for many reasons

Can't test the taste because I haven't tried it but my dog definitely loves it! I use a professional trainer for my pup and that's what she uses for training. They don't dry out like others because they are freeze dried and easy to break apart to give small pieces to puppies. This is our brand for many reasons.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine

I mix this with Blue Buffalo Dry Dog Food

My dog (22 lbs) loves this stuff. I take a cup of Blue Buffalo Chicken and Rice dry dog food and add about six pieces of freeze-dried beef. I shred the beef chunks with my fingers and toss them in dry dog food. My dog eats all of this. Because I use very little freeze-dried beef, the cost is low because it has such a long shelf life. I am very happy and so is my dog.

Pros
  • Handy Item

Expensive but helpful

I have two old dogs, one with cancer, so fussy and fickle and I feed the dogs so having treats/food that encourages a healthy appetite is important. pricey, but both flavors I used, beef and turkey, were popular alongside other toppings like parmesan cheese, egg, broth, and preserves. And I feel like the ingredients and versatility justify the cost. I love that it comes in chunks (for treats or edibles) that can be rolled between hands to make shreds (so it can be mixed with other foods to…
