Fur. I can take it or leave it.

sun visor is ok. Reliable 4-star performer. What I like is how well it's made, it's a durable, heavy-duty plastic. Not flexible, but rigid. If necessary, he can replace brass knuckles. It fits my Zumo 595 like a glove. But will it work as a sun visor? i think it works Of course it depends on where the sun is. Did I have to shade the screen with my hand while using it? Didn't I use it? Yes. But then again, I don't follow the sun when I'm wearing it. So if I forget to put it on I won't stop toโ€ฆ

Normal except when the sun is in full swing

First, the shade is small. The size is bigger to look good on the bike, not to give you a readable screen. Secondly I hate the elastic straps to hold it in place, I figured I could just leave a shadow on the GPS. Well, you need to stretch the straps over the mount. If you fiddle with those straps every time you stop, it becomes a problem. If I could somehow tilt the GPS closer to vertical that would be great, but for a mount on my KTM 1290 you're limited when the sun is at a lower angle. Itโ€ฆ

Works way better than any alternatives I've found!

I have tried the sun visor/visors with "two hanger" attachment points and it did not work for me. they are not strong enough. mine is somewhere in Cancun right in the middle, plus I found the design didn't really provide enough 'tinting'. This block is much stronger and the two elastic bands keep it STRONG in place. tricky to install but it's a compromise I accept for a shade that stays in place! Why only 4 stars? Actually I would like to give 4.5 stars. The only bad thing about this product is

Works well with Zumo 396

Installed Zumo to replace BMW OEM Nav V (Zumo 595) on dash. The Zumo sits close to the dash and is snug enough to slide the sun visor straps on the ends without removing the GPS from the mount, but that doesn't need to be done very often on my R1200RT toilet. When I installed the Zumo 396 on the handlebars of my R1150GS it was easy to install as I had plenty of room in the back to attach and mount the GPS straps. That back space doesn't exist on the RT, and it's more difficult. I can't installโ€ฆ

Great GPS sun visor for suitcase

This sun visor fits my Garmin 396 very well. I have wired GPS to turn off the ignition so getting to the GPS switch is no problem for me. The rear strap hides the switch to GPS, so turning it on that way can be annoying. It's so easy to install I don't understand why anyone would need instructions to install it on their GPS. It definitely makes a big difference when it comes to protecting your screen from the sun. It's not perfect, but it's a big improvement. The straps keep it firmly attachedโ€ฆ

Perfect fit for old Garmin 1490

When it comes to motorcycle GPS navigators, I prefer to buy used, obsolete, inexpensive units with lifetime map updates. Yes, the devices I receive are usually not waterproof. So this has to be taken into account. But the unit I purchased to install this sunshade cost me $1 more than this $13.99 sunshade from a reputable auction site and is in near mint condition. So for less than $30 I have a device that I can leave wired and permanently installed on my bike dash (FJR1300) and if it suddenlyโ€ฆ

Not for ZUMO gps for Cases

Ok, I read the reviews and made this purchase. The mistake was that I believed some reviews. It's a good product BUT it doesn't work for the ZUMO 395. The straps that hold it in place are a problem as you can't get out of the GPS with it, but there's no room for in the Zumo mount straps. However, I placed it around the mount and was able to lock the viewfinder in its mount. I can't turn it on or off without moving the strap to access the button. Now I either have to leave it on the bike when Iโ€ฆ

This sun visor fits the new Garmin Zumo 396 LMT-S GPS motorcycle

I recently bought a new Garmin Zumo 396 LMT-S GPS for my motorcycle for my Kawasaki KLR650 and used it for a cross -Country motorbike ride with this summer. I love Block 396, it worked great on my trip! My only issue was the sun glare on the screen at certain times of the day. When I got home I looked for a sunshade for my 396 GPS but couldn't find anything for the 396. Based on the photos and description of this parasol on Revain I was sure it could work so I took a chance and ordered itโ€ฆ
