Description of Tamron 17 50Mm Aspherical Pentax K Mount
- 1. The low cost of the lens is probably the most significant benefit it offers. On March 10, 2022, when practically all online retailers were experiencing pandemonium and ridiculous exchange rates, I placed my own order for it at a cost of 28K. 2. Keep the aperture at 2.8 regardless of the focal length. 3. In conjunction with the Nikon D3300 crop carcass (24-megapixel Sony matrix), Camera Raw, and Photoshop, colors that are very "juicy" and nearly toxic can be achieved. This is how I like my photos to look. 4. The manufacturer's commitment to providing excellent service to its clients: - After registering on the official Tamron website for an extended five-year guarantee, it was discovered that the lens, while having been manufactured in China, had been lawfully imported into 2022. In Hong Kong, on the street, I was able to get a free lens adjustment for my body, which is another huge plus. My "tamron" was fixed at Plekhanov (the office service center) by adjusting the firmware for back focus.
- The downsides have previously been detailed in great detail several times above, including the "strange" operation of the stabilizer, the unpleasant "buzz" of the motor of the autofocus that is not the fastest, and the rotation of the focus ring in the "wrong" direction, amongst other things. Although, for me personally in 2022, a snotty lover who is not burdened with the need to engage in photo commerce, a bunch of a new Nikon D3300 crop carcass with a 24-megapixel Sony sensor for 14K and a new aperture glass Tamron 17-50 for 28K, which fully reveals this matrix, is the most in terms of price-quality. These two items can be purchased together for 28K.
- excellent value for the money. Before me, there was a list of all the benefits. I concur with them.
- Nearly all of the drawbacks are also listed before me. I can attest that many misaligned lenses are for sale. I only received a normal one the third time. There is frequently a rear focus of 1 to 2 cm. I really don't want to give a new lens for adjustment, but the store personnel say that the official service looks to cost 700. Autofocus strange behavior, see remark.
- Picture that is clear, bright, and attractive.
- tight zoom ring
- The center is really sharp, and the edges aren't too shabby either. + The least extreme example of its type of distortion. Absent altogether between 24 and 50 mm. + Few color shifts or distortions. You can't even see them in RAW, so there's no point in trying to fix them. With a 2.8 aperture and excellent coatings (light resistance), this camera is practically amazing.
- - From 35mm to 50mm, wide open sharpness isn't quite up to par. Autofocus and image stabilization are noisy.
- Aperture, Construction, Good Staffer, Acceptable Bokeh, Hood Provided, Focus and Zoom Rings that are Easily Adjusted
- Cons: - Noisy stabilizer - Slow autofocus (but still quicker than most lenses) Disgusting production quality control standards (discussed in comment)
- Aperture, cost, weight, and dimensions are all included. Harmony in terms of quality overall.
- Strong loss of sharpness at the periphery of the picture, mild chromate in problematic locations, speed of focusing, geometric distortion, glare, thin lens hood, and plastic construction are some of the issues with this camera. You will need to select thoughtfully.
- Clarity and brightness are both present. In the maximum range that the zoom tamron can cover. If you choose between 17 and 50 millimeters as your focal length range, the tamron will produce the sharpest and most beautiful pattern. If you do not compare this with Nikkor, however, you will notice that the price is very different.
- It is essential to make a decision. I went to a store and purchased four lenses all at once. It is not difficult to focus in either the front or the back of the lens, of course, and the problem can be remedied at a later time through adjustment, but it is preferable to eliminate this problem as soon as possible, particularly if the lens is not located in Hong Kong.
- Above f/4, there is a crispness that is really nice. Included around the outside of the picture's frame as well. Even though it "cools" a little bit on D300s with automatic BB, the color rendition does not seem to be the source of any particular concerns. When viewed from broad angles, vignetting and distortion do not appear to be overly distracting (for a third-party product, of course). Unbelievably light and diminutive (making it suitable for young women who are on the thinner side). Since this was my first experience with the Tamron image stabilization system (VC), all I have to use as a benchmark is Nikon's (VR) technology. I did not notice a significant change, other from perhaps a slightly more "twitchy" performance from Tamron's stub. I did not notice any other changes.
- Inadequate construction. The hood need to be handled with the care that one would a crystal vase. Chromatic aberrations that are particularly severe in the focal length range of 17 to 20. Does not like backlight (although, to be fair, it should be noted that all lenses in this price range do not like brightness, thus this statement is not unique to this lens). The price in 2022 was no longer appealing due to the fact that the lens now had a stub attached to it. Sometimes the autofocus will be blurry.
- Price, an employee with a sharp stub (in relation to the cost) reasonably quick and precise af performance at dusk With the 2022 mode and its smooth and short focus ring, you may record video with blurry or out of focus subjects.
- Imagine, it's not in the picture. Tight zoom ring Stub goes through batteries like a horse does hay. Relighting all the time! You need to make a -1 adjustment to the exposure.
