Very good filters. I use it to filter woodworking varnish and it removes pretty much everything. You can use something smaller if you want to filter out 100% of all impurities. The paint wears off quickly and overall I'm very happy with it. It's definitely a disposable filter, although I've tried cleaning with nail polish thinner and even filtering my nail polish thinner with it, and the glue holding the mesh in place melts very quickly. I actually rip off the screen and put it under the cap of my airbrush paint bottles. Has worked well so far and I can't complain about the ease of straining my paint when pouring it from the bottle. I also add marbles to my bottles and after some use I inspected the strainer and it doesn't appear to have stretched or warped due to the marble. Of course I'll have to replace the screen at some point, but the number of screens you get in this pack will take a LONG time using this method. each…

Do not recommend these screens for solvent based coatings as the adhesive holding the mesh failed miserably on first use. It is not possible to return them as I was traveling and returned home after the return window closed. So far, in 30 years, the paint screen has not failed once. They may work on varnish and spirit based paints but definitely not on varnish or catalytic urethane coatings. I'll double them and see if that can help as I'm stuck with them. I tested them first with some kind of stain I had on hand that was slowly dissolving, but it worked so I thought so far so good. then the weather got better and the paint came off.
