Allows you to use the TV remote control to adjust the volume of an old audio system (without ARC)

I bought this unit in the hope that it would allow me to use my TV remote to control the volume on my old AV system. My new TV can output sound via Bluetooth, an optical connection or an ARC (HDMI) connection. I was not satisfied with the Bluetooth sound quality. The optical connection provided the best quality, but the volume was fixed. I ordered an ARC certified HDMI cable and a Tendak ARC audio extractor. Works as intended, MUST use a good power source

I got this because I use active monitors for TV audio in my bedroom. Usually you use an audio interface on your desk to adjust the volume, but since I'm using it with a TV I need to be able to adjust the volume with the remote control. I only want to use one remote with my TV, so either Fire Stick or Roku Remote with volume control.
