The best time saver among power and hand tools

Based on the reviews I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this vise. But I was pleasantly surprised when I got it. I didn't have to disassemble, clean and lubricate it. It was good as it came. He did what I wanted. Yes this is not an exact tool but for the price I paid it does what is expected of it. I recommend this vise to anyone who needs it for home use.

Functional, poorly designed

I have a 4 inch cross slide vise. They're cast iron and heavy, but the parts don't fit together, accuracy is an issue with positioning under the drill press, and there are obvious design flaws. .had to remove the handle and do a few turns with the pliers. If you're lucky there's another bug that costs 1.5 times more and is better designed.

In operation, the movement was very rough and the resistance changed as the slide was moved from one end to the other. I've tried cleaning it and sanding the surfaces, but it's so unfinished that it needs a serious overhaul. In addition, it…
