Bought this for my daughter's hermit crab and it does exactly what it says on the tin. Keeps an eye on temperature and humidity. That was all we needed and now we can easily see when to add more moisture or turn on the heat lamp. I taped to the inner glass since we put it in, but time will tell how long it lasts.

I love this little thing. I was skeptical because of some bad reviews but it works great and is accurate. I like how it shows temperature and humidity. Very well worth the money. The only thing I'm having trouble with is that the sticky bit that comes with the kit to attach it to your tank didn't stick. I just fixed it with the super powerful command bar. I would definitely buy again.

UPDATE: I showed it to my husband (should have shown it from the start). Apparently there were no pieces that should hit the battery in 2 places, he was able to adjust it with tweezers And it works as expected! This product no longer works. Received it on April 2nd 2021. He died after 5 weeks, I thought he needed a new battery - finally got a new one in but it still doesn't work.

I use this in my incubator. The display is slightly larger than those I've used in the past, making it easier to read through the glass even in low light. This unit has stayed in place well, seems perfectly accurate (readings always agree with my other thermometers/areometers) and does the job. It took a bit of fiddling to switch it from C to F, but it wasn't difficult, just a little. Definitely worth a little more for an easy read!

They were recommended on the website as the best precision instrument at a low price. I have to say I'm happy with them so far, they stick straight to the walls of their bathrooms and you can see them without opening the case. Temperatures seem accurate and it was easy to switch to F the first time. Inexpensive enough that I could afford to buy one for each case and several if needed. I will definitely get more in the future as I add more reptiles.

We bought this thermometer for use in a 40 gallon aquarium for a small teju. It can measure temperature in C and F and humidity in percent. You can either stick it to the glass with the included stick or attach it with a plastic hook. It's fairly accurate, but since it doesn't have probes it can only measure right around the device, which isn't as useful for measuring substrate or bathing areas in the middle of the cage.
