This is a very easy to use wood putty knife as it is water based, easy to clean and easy to sand. It copes with its task without much effort and its consistency is easily adjusted with water.

The stain I applied softened and blended with the filler, turning it noticeably darker than the surrounding wood. If you could paint the surrounding area, then apply filler, then sealer, that might work admirably.

This is a big disappointment. It shrinks as it dries, leaving open cracks and doesn't look like teak at all - it's actually a slightly yellowish color. I'm trying to color it to make it darker. Next time I arrive at my boat I will box and return open and unopened bottles.
