Works well with parts

Replaced front bearings on a Honda Civic 05 It was an exact match, has been on the car and feels great for over a year now. Much cheaper than going to Honda and buying "OEM" parts.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

Excellent quality OEM bearings

Bought these bearings for a noisy 2005 Honda Civic LX and they fitted perfectly. The loud noise coming from the front of the car is gone and the bearings are of very good quality. They are made in Japan.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Works as it should. for Wheel

I needed to replace a broken bolt on my front wheel hub on my 2005 Special Edition Civic Coupe EX. To do this, it is necessary to press out the hub and bearing and to press in a new bearing. As others have said, if your vehicle has ABS, the magnetic side/tone ring should face the transmission. Driven about 3000 km with it, no complaints yet.

Pros
  • Best in niche

Great for Acura Integra.

Timken bearing, high quality material. Many car manufacturers use Timken as an OEM, so in many cases they are OEM, equivalent or even better. It was installed on a '99 Acura Integra GS and worked great. The car is calm again and drives well. Don't skimp on wheel bearings or you'll soon have to do this tiresome job again. Timken are high quality and should last a long time.

OEM level product with significant savings

Excellent OEM product. This is not a Timken bearing and will be clearly stated in the product information. It is supplied by Timken and sold by Timken. For my car (a 1996 Civic DX Gatchback) the bearing was made by SKF, a well known manufacturer of OEM bearings. A great product that was packaged correctly, pressed to perfection and runs smooth with no wobble. I want to get the same bearing with a hub.

2000 Civic with ABS - Koyo bearing made in Japan

IF YOU HAVE A 96-00 CIVIC WITHOUT ABS THIS IS NOT A BEARING FOR YOU. It fits my 2000 EX Civic perfectly. It's a Timken brand, but they're distributors for their sister brand, Koyo, which is premium Japanese-made stock. Freezing the bearing made installation much easier. Freezing compresses the metal a bit. Be sure to lubricate the outside of the bearing before it freezes to make installation easier.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Cord shorter than others

Ideal for Integra 94-01! Excellent quality. But it doesn't match the Civic.

My friend works at a Honda dealership and was thrilled when he saw that I had purchased Timken bearings. He said they were of excellent quality. They were perfect for my '94 Integra. However, I bought another set for my Civic Si 94 - although Revane said they would fit - they don't! Civil camps are significantly smaller. I believe 92-00 Civics use 510015. But if you have an Integra these are the best of the best.

I forgot how quiet a car can be

Finally my first wheel bearing failed at 234,000 miles on my 2002 Civic. This Timken part was an exact original equipment part and was less than half the retail price. The bearing ring is embossed with "KOYO JAPAN". This isn't the sort of job you want to do with a cheap, low-quality replacement every 15,000 miles. Buy that more expensive quality part and never worry about it again. As others have said, install the rubber seal on the outside of the car.

Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Good stock, does not fit my 97 Civic LX, no ABS

Parts specialist Revain said I need a Timken 510030 that DOES NOT FIT my car which is a 1997 Honda Civic LX. Both ID and OD were too large. Unfortunately I waited too long to install the part and was unable to return it. Then I found out that 510030 is for Civic with ABS. I installed the correct bearing for my machine, Timken 510015, and the installation went smoothly. Again 510030 for a 1997 Civic with ABS; 510015 for Civic 1997 WITHOUT ABS. Finally, make sure you're getting the right parts by
