I had a Tom-Tom One when they first came out and it was great - lasted two years and then just died. As the tom-tom is notoriously easy to use, I decided to find a replacement and chose the 330 XL for the voice/text comms capability and larger display. First a little background: I'm a HUGE fan of TomTom. I like the user interface; I love the whimsical voices you can apply to the app. I've been using TT for a while - since version 4.x on Palm Zire72, then versions 5.0 and 5.20 on Treo 650, Tilt and now XL 330S. I consider myself a good GPS test rider for several reasons. The first reason is that I use GPS at least 5 times a day, 5 days a week to find addresses during high traffic.
