only part of the compartment walls is removable

The product description says "removable compartments" but only part of the compartment walls are removable. A wall in the middle and 2 side walls are fixed. This somewhat limits the size of items you can store in the box. The boxes are not very high quality, but they are ok for the price. Locks and hinges are not very strong and will fail over time.

slightly tight, stiff clasp, difficult to close

I bought these to organize my ever growing collection of earrings so I can sort them by color and type. I wasn't looking for a jewelry box, I wanted something that would easily fit in a desk drawer. These boxes do the trick, but they're not the best. What I love about these boxes is that the dimensions of the compartments can be adjusted by inserting little plastic dividers where you need them. So if you break things down by type or color, you can choose the right size for each category…
