Nice upgrade on my 2010 Monaco Montclair

The Van Store told me these locks are no longer made (obviously true) and that a new replacement would cost over $1000 including labor! I am very thankful that this part was a suitable replacement for my broken pen. Not to say that the exchange was easy. I have to sharpen the striker plate on the jamb to accommodate the latch (not a perfect fit) and what are those two big weird bolts used for anyway? However, I managed to do it in less than an hour and saved myself expensive repairs at the…

Perfect replacement for Trimark 1993/72130

Used to replace a broken 72130 and it worked great. Wave broke at 72130 as described in other reviews. I love the design of these door handles. Good solid metal mostly, but I agree with other reviews that the new red plastic locking knobs were a bad change. I ended up reusing the old 72130 inner plate with metal locking knobs with a new outer plate and locking mechanism. They fit together with no problems. Highly recommend, but I have to admit the red plastic locking buttons can be flimsy…

Perfect replacement for an existing Trimark Latch

I bought this latch to replace an existing Trimark Latch on a 23 year old Motorhome after it had become blocked due to a broken latch casting. This was a direct replacement for my setup. The only thing I did for myself was use an existing pen. The old block was redesigned to prevent a brake like mine. If you now have a triple shield in your door this is what you need with 2 new keys for the main lock and deadbolt.

  • Regular Price

A definite improvement over the old model

Bought to replace a 17 year old lock of the same model. It's much better; heavier and stronger. And the handles are larger, which makes it easier to lock and unlock. There were two problems with the installation. 1) I had to use a new striker. The old one looked the same, but didn't work with the new lock, so don't skip this step. 2) I had to make small cuts inside the lock cutout in the door. The lock mechanism froze so check and unlock the lock and make sure you can turn the keys all the way.

Don't sell them if they don't have a steel butt!

This item should have been taken off the shelves years ago. In 2012, RV owners started having problems with pistons breaking and sometimes people getting trapped in their buses. Mine broke last fall while storing it over the winter. I was locked out but accidentally left the passenger window open. Lucky for me, otherwise I would have had to drill the handle. I ordered this pen because TriMark told me it had a new steel plunger (rather than aluminum alloy). It doesn't have a steel butt. I don't…

Garbage. Do not buy!

I'm on vacation in the country and the door lock is broken. I ordered a new one from Revain because it arrives quickly before we have to leave. The new lock arrived three days after I ordered it and the plastic lock switches weren't even attached to the lock itself. The first time I moved it, the red locking switch immediately popped out. They made these locks cheaper and went from using metal components to these cheap plastic manual latches. There isn't enough body on the new plastic switches…

STEEL LOCK Non-Metal

* PREVIOUS model (60-650) of this Trimark lock had a cast METAL plunger/lock which often breaks, usually at the wrong time, and twists the runners.* This is a Trimark -Closure with a STAHL latch/piston (060-1650) which SHOULD be stronger.* See photo of stack of earth magnets sticking to STAHL latches.* Installation mod - see photos: As other reviewers have said, I have also cut off two lugs/tabs on the working "wheel" of the deadbolt because they interfered with the door frame and rendered the…

Some modifications needed

The door handle was very similar to the Trimark handle on my 2016 Thor Miramar 34.2 and my previous 2015 Thor ACE 29.3. The bolt on this one has been replaced with steel instead of appearing like cast metal on the old knobs. At first glance, you might not notice the difference in the handles. The new version has two unused "tabs" on the internal bolt connection. Those ears kept the handle from entering my factory door. I removed the unused "ears" with some dams and a dremmel tool. After…
