Purchased a pair of these but one works great the other one get's stuck after the first use, not able to use again which sucks.

There are many versions of this product but this one has no suction power. The lever starts midway up the cylinder allowing it to suck very little pressure. Look for a competitor brand where the lever starts closer to the bottom and draws all the way up.I bought this one because it was cheaper than the other brand, but because it doesn’t do the job of extracting the insect venom, it’s pointless waste of money.

Typically that would be a good thing, but not when you’re trying to remove insect venom. Initially the suction is good but it releases too soon. I wouldn’t buy again.

Directions instruct you to apply suction for 25 seconds on the bite. It loses suction after 3 seconds. I was hesitant to purchase this product because I thought the claims of sucking out the toxins were dubious to begin with, but this product can’t even operate as instructed.

Instructions could have been a bit clearer but it is neatly packaged in its own slideout type box and it arrived the next day. Suction is pretty good, haven’t had to use it for stings or making sure ticks will come out after removal but I’m sure it will do the job. Bought as I’d read that even if you remove a tick it’s best to suck out the area afterwards.

I admit, I made fun of my friends, when they invited us to their cabin in the woods, and offered it as a relief for mosquito bites. But then my son got bit by a wasp, right above his eye, and I grabbed it right away and sucked the poison out. And the bite went away, no allergies, no inflammation, no itching- like it never happened. So I am a huge fan now!

I purchased this because I wanted an extra extractor to carry easily in my purse. I own the yellow original extractor and it is the best IMO. This does not even come close to comparing. There is hardly any suction and I was very disappointed. I tried to return the item and was not able to as it says not eligible for return so into the trash it will go. If you want a better product buy the "Extractor" in the yellow box.
