I used this to help with my Shih Tzus tangles when I comb her. Her tangles aren’t bad or anything, but I thought this would help me get through them easier. It helps a little bit, but I’m disappointed overall. I don’t care for the scent much either, but my wife finds the scent quite nice, so it could just be me. We hadn’t been able to get our Bichon in to the groomer in far too long. I wanted to do what I could for the matted hair (some very bad) before Otis went in. This product with brushing took out a solid 90% of matted hair clumps. I will absolutely but this product again.

I didn’t know that I had to comb out the inner coat of a puppy. When I went through with a comb it was difficult to get through the undercoat. I sprayed this and was easy to comb through. He hasn’t had his hair cut yet and I was mortified to read that lots of dogs with mats will get shaved down. I got the mats out and hope my he won’t have to be shaved bald. It also has a little scent to get rid of the "dog smell.”
