UClear Motion 6 Dual Review

It could have been a defective unit but my goodness this version sucks compared to previous models. The build quality feels like they've skimped on everything possible, and the sound quality proves it. The left ear was completely distorted, no volume control made it possible to hear it and it certainly couldn't be heard over my bike. There are several alleged quality issues that do not match the price. The brackets don't feel secure, although they do click when the controller box is inserted. I used to have a pair of HBC200's and one of them stopped charging after about 3 years when I bought a new set and I was having trouble with the intercom clarity. The woman wants to return the old device. Upgrade from a Sena Q2 pro that was old enough that the battery could no longer be charged. UClear Motion 6 has easy setup and excellent sound quality. I've found the motion controls work well, I don't have any false alarms unless I try to open my modular helmet and it reads this as a signal. UPDATE #2: Contact with UClea customer support was excellent. I emailed them and they responded within 24 hours. Sent them the information they requested and they sent me a new speaker set for free priority shipping. I am very satisfied with UClear's customer service. We bought these units for off-road motorcycling. We wanted to be able to easily communicate back and forth on two different bikes. When we used the devices in a pre-trip test run, they seemed to work well, although voice transmission was a bit patchy (it's hard to understand what the other person was trying to communicate). Before purchasing this product I did a lot of research and spoke to a few other cyclists about bluetooth communication. We were very happy with this purchase, even for $400.
