Stop Breaking Light Bulbs

The threaded portion of this unit works surprisingly well, glass thermistors are a disadvantage of cheap printers. The only caveat I have is that I sold my Ender 3 to a friend and it had temp sensor errors. We think it may have had small cracks on the 2-pin connector.

BEST.UPGRADE.EVER: 3D printer spare parts and accessories

Holy cow! That's YEARS before the tiny glass bead and brittle wire thermistor that came with my Ender 5 broke. This easily threads into the space provided for the screw holding the old thermistor wire. The strain relief is a metal spring that flexes and supports as if being held by an angel from behind. This is one of the best replacements/upgrades I've ever done. and almost all parts of my Ender 5 have been replaced at the moment, from the hotend to the mainboard. That's great! 10 stars!

Not M3, not suitable for Ender 3

This is an 8-32 thread, not M3. Standard, not metric. Too large a set screw hole in my Ender 3 heater block. It also required me to edit my firmware, which required me to learn how to edit my firmware. I had to drill and cut an 8-32 hole to make it fit. Then the sensor was defective. I guess the big black "X" written as a marker on the packaging should be a clue. Very upset that I wasted so much time on this thing. Replacement should be here soon. I will update when the experience is better.
