I bought this drain because I wanted a smooth transition and used the side that you actually place the tiles on. I have had it 2 months and it’s been a great buy. I really like the look and functionality. I read a review that stated you needed to purchase an added part, but that wasn’t the case everything you need comes with it. I recommend.

We purchased this drain because up a remodel on the bathroom. With the tile side up it is gorgeous in the shower pan and the Stainless side up is classic. Don't lose the plastic clips on the insert, you will need those clipped in to support the insert in the drain.The drain comes with strainer and a threaded flange. I was hesitant at first since this was my first linear drain install. Everything went really well. The hardest part of the install was breaking the concrete slab to move the plumbing to where it needed to be. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Make sure you get a drain base to install this linear drain onto. After you set the height in the center the adjustable feet level it out and support it for the mortar bed.The inset was easy to tile and then to install in the base. All in all

Completely tore out and rebuilt our shower that was only 7 years old due to mildew and maintenance issues. Will NEVER build a tile shower again without a linear drain. Used large floor tiles with acrylic grout on the floor.Biggest issue is making sure to set the linear drain height to be fractionally below the end floor tile height. Takes some planning but end result is fantastic.

Not matte black at all sort of a metallic grey color that doesn’t match anything. Plastic spacer pieces are highly visible when grate is placed in drain. The gap all around where the water spills in is huge and ugly. Just over all a cheap product I wouldn’t recommend anyone getting. I do bathroom remodels for a living and take pride in the work I do and wouldn’t allow this for my customers.

I love the option of using the drain with a tile insert to match the surrounding tile or the chrome finish. The tile installer had a suggestion about making sure the slope of the concrete is finished off low enough around the drain to give leeway to set tile flush with drain. Perfect for my application. The inlaid tile option makes the drain nearly disappear from notice in the floor. The drain staining cup inside holds lots of hair and such so it doesn't need cleaned very often. But be sure not to lose the metal hook you use to remove the drain top otherwise it's neigh impossible to open and clean out.

Linear drains are easier to clean and you don’t have to stand on the drain while taking a shower like with the central round drains

My contractor installed but said it was straightforward. Cost was about $100 less than my local big box store. Looks great, I love it!

Easy to install, love the angled inside that makes sure the water runs down the drain hole and that it allows for shower water to drain faster

Love this drain. Haven't done final tile install but it looks great so far. Excited to see it all finished. The only thing I wish is that it had some feet for leveling. It wasn't too hard, but it wiggles a bit because of the sleeve, so make sure you double check your level.

I had someone installed it. He didn't have any bad thing to say or any issue putting this thing together. The result looks really good. It brings up the level of my new shower room one notch. Highly recommended.
