Great Boots First

Anyone who works hard knows that having good boots/shoes is very important. Knowing this, I bought almost every known type of boot in search of the perfect pair for my feet and thought I had found them. They are very light and very comfortable. Great for the first 8 months. Until both pairs of boots had cracked soles right on the balls of their feet. They did it a week apart, rendering them useless. I don't know if it's a material defect or a design flaw, but it's very disappointing for a pair…

Great boots. Size does matter

This shoe is by far the best safety shoe I have worn at work. I work in a warehouse as a forklift 6 days a week. Fits well. I always wear size 11D but after reading the reviews I went for size 11.5D and they fit perfectly. I wear them with athletic socks and they feel comfortable with comfortable toe box. I feel like I can go hiking with it with no problem. They look black out of the box, but they are a super brownish blackish color. I wear them to work for a few days and there is no abrasion…

Pros
  • Boot opening approx 12 inches approx

Really comfortable for about 6 months. and then.

When I first received these boots they were fantastic. They were just as comfortable to wear as my special hiking boots. But after about 4 or 5 months of daily wear, I noticed a bump on the sole just below my pinky toe on both shoes. Things only got worse until these boots became too uncomfortable to wear at around 6 months. This bump was gone when I bought it and when I replaced it it was about 1/4 inch. I contacted Keen direct and they replaced the boots with no problem at no cost to me so…

Pros
  • SAFETY AND COMFORT: Reflective safety features run the full length of the shoe for added visibility; Moisture wicking textiles keep feet dry and CLEANSPORT NXT provides natural odor control with probiotics
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

Best for landscaping

I'm a landscaper and my shoes are losing money. I had these shoes last year and they were great until they got wet and I made the mistake of throwing them in the dryer and they shrank. This season I took Keen Flint Lows. It was a nice comfortable shoe, a little lighter than the Lansing Mids and also a little more breathable due to the much more mesh surrounding the foot, but after only a quarter of a season they weren't looking very good. . The outsole started to peel off and the upper wore out

Pros
  • Rubber sole
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Not waterproof! - Uniform, Labor and Security

These boots only lasted a few days past the one month return period. My feet were completely soaked and the waterproofing is completely fraudulent. Perhaps a better word would have been "waterproof" but I bought these boots primarily for the waterproofing. I don't do anything extreme with these boots other than walk outside at a normal pace and there shouldn't be a reason why these boots are phasing out in less than two months let alone a year, which is what I've come to expect from boots that…

I love these keens best in uniform, work and safety

I love these boots. I have a pair of Keen Atlanta Cool steel toe boots for summer work and have found them to be the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I would wear my safety toe shoes every day, at work or not. I even started wearing them on camping trips. As it got colder, I started wearing warmer and warmer socks because I didn't want to switch to my clunky heavy boots. I decided it was time for a winter pair of Keen's so I researched my options and settled on these Lansings. Height…

4 months and very satisfied!

I've had these boots for over 4 months now. The work I do requires 3 consecutive weeks of 10 hours per day and includes things like demolishing sidewalks, shoveling rock and earth, pouring concrete into both small areas and transporting concrete in hoppers and domes from large steel pillars. Needless to say it is tough on the feet and also very tough on clothes and shoes. Cheap boots will stiffen after a few hours, and inferior leather won't stand up to the strain. All in all, these were great…

Pros
  • STEEL TOE: Left and right asymmetric unique anatomically correct steel toe cap offers a roomier toe for maximum comfort and a discreet fit; Men's Lansing Mid work boots meet or exceed ASTM F2412 and F2413 I/75 and C/75

  • Makes me angry
