I work for an airline so im around the engines of planes all day. When I first tried these on at home I could still hear my husband and children talking normally so I was a bit worried they wouldn't do what they're supposed to while at work. These work so well that all I can hear with them on is the ringing in my ears from the tinnitus I developed over the years by not wearing hearing protection when I should have been. Cancels a lot of noise, which is good.But I find it a bit too tight on my head, so it becomes a bit uncomfortable after a while.

Wore these to block out the sound of a full size marimba 10 feet away. Made the sound very tolerable, but was glad to remove them between songs because they are really tight on my head. I’m sure that is normal in order to block the sound so well.

Purcased these to listen to the television with my hearing aids connected to the tv audio. My wife listens with the normal speakers. If the normal speakers are still heard then there is an echo. These solve the problem by removing the tv's normal speakers

A lot of ear muffs for shooting are too tight for my head or don't fully cover my ears but I was surprised how good these were for the price. Very pleased with the product. They fit like a glove.
