The middle one doesn't glow red so I used my wife's nail polish to make it glow red in the dark, now it's redder than the other two 🙄 but looks great overall. Since it protrudes so far from the main interface, it's difficult to see the white highlights from the driver's point of view.

Perfect for the 2001 VW Jetta. I forgot to paint the inside of the center handle red as others have mentioned. It's light outside now, so I couldn't tell if the big buttons were glowing red in the dark, but I did notice that the center button was bright yellow. The knobs do not obscure the symbols or numbers for the air conditioning/heating controls.

Looks fantastic, very modern look for your MK4! I recommend! It only took me a minute to install them very easily, if you don't know how to take them off, watch the YouTube tutorial so you don't break them. Don't like that you have to paint the inside of the center handle with a red marker to make it glow red, not orange, otherwise love them, and the ribbed trim on them is easy to adjust, you hold them great!

They are excellent and the price is right for them. The quality is great, goes well with my 20th GTI and the aluminum parts that come with my interior. A little warning for those using them on MK4. The central main dial does not glow red (at least in my case). The light becomes clear due to the way the bulb is matched to the center disc. That doesn't bother me because I can see and distinguish the dial better in the dark. That issue aside, they are amazing.

These buttons have a very nice appearance. They are located on aluminum or other metal, so they are very pleasant to the touch. I have a few dislikes. When I receive these pens today, some of the silver is chipped or scratched. I do not know. My second complaint about them is that they are too thick so once installed you can't see some of the symbols that indicate what the vent is attached to. I would like them to be a little recessed in their original place, like the factory, but not that far.
