Good stuff, not sure if I have a bad tube

Not as good as Permatex or Loctite 518. I've even used primer activator. I'm not sure if I have a bad tube, but this thing didn't work. to me. I've used several machined flanges and a cast iron gearbox and none of them were sealed. I broke again after 2 weeks and the sealing was still wet in places.

Pipe Gasket Tool

I used a VITE 730 to reassemble a high pressure water pump. It works great! Factory replacement seals for a pump cost more than a hose. I can fix a dozen pumps with one hose. A word of advice: let the assembled pump sit for a day to ensure the gasket "fits" properly, and don't use it to replace the o-ring.

Pros
  • Gasket
Cons
  • Damaged

Sealed My Leaking Transfer Case

Update (11/7/19): One year old and it's holding tight. One thing I made sure to do before applying the sealer was to clean the surfaces well. I sanded them with fine sandpaper (about 300 grit) and cleaned them with denatured alcohol. The key was removing all the oil and old sealant. I also used Vibra-TITE 611 primer, I don't know if it helped, but it didn't hurt. 2 ounces. Bottle (Item 61102) was more than adequate for this tube. I also bought a Valco tubular grip (Valco Cincinnati 71416) which
