Do not drill the table until you are sure it will fit your PC.

Installation (mounting the mount): Installing the under desk PC mount was easy and straight forward, but you will need a drill to fix the mount under your desk. Installation (PC Connection): This was the hardest part of the installation for me as I couldn't find a secure fit for my PC. The problem was related to finding the correct height, as the mount uses a hex screw to align the computer with one of the holes along the length of the channel. Depending on the size of your computer, it eitherโ€ฆ

PERFECT for small form factor desktops like the HP 590. However, there are some installation guidelines.

If it's mainly going to be mounted on a hollow table like Ikea or similar I wouldn't use molybdenum screws. Cut a larger piece of 1/2 ply (15/32 ply is most common at Home Depot) or OSB that allows for general-purpose wood screws and more surface area for wood glue to glue. Lay it out and then pre-drill the layer for the screws. Apply wood glue generously and then screw on. All around and across the material is 1/2 inch. You can't overdo it. I used #9 screws and a 1/8" straight drill bitโ€ฆ

Good fit but design flaws

The manufacturer seems to have solved the problems of other customers. I bought two and neither had frozen screws or other mechanical issues. The build quality is good in my opinion - solid and nicely finished. The problems I encountered were due to design flaws. I measured my computers and compared their dimensions to the bracket specs. They should fit well, but didn't. To adjust the vertical size, the base plate must be moved up and down in the channels on either side of the mounting bracket.

Complicated installation, the width in the listing is wrong but it actually fits one computer.

I bought this because I have a height adjustable desk. I have a monitor stand from the same manufacturer that I love so I figured this would be the one. And maybe that would have been my case because we're a bit smaller and I had a third hand to help with the installation. 1. Plus: It really keeps the computer off the ground. Installation is painful. The instructions state that you must first screw it onto the table, then adjust it, and then insert the computer effortlessly. If you don't haveโ€ฆ
