works fine but I returned it. Updated

Updated 10/21: Adding one star for fast customer service email offering me a full refund. I have returned the item a long time ago and received the refund from ebay so I don't need their offer. But a refund policy like this is worth adding one more star.Ok it works fine in general if it's inside the house.   • Simple and Fast.The stud finder wall scanner can quickly find the edges and center of metal studs, pipes, rebar, joists behind walls, floors, and ceilings as well as the live AC wires. Fast detection saves users time and efforts, making the task easier. The button on the middle of the body is used for selecting from four scanning modes. The other button on the left side is to help you easily read the information on LCD screen and quickly detect the objects behind.

Accurate stud finder for a fraction of the price of the major name brands

I like the packaging of this stud finder. It fits in my hand well and seems to be accurate. The only issue was that I needed to supply a 9- volt battery. Fortunately, I had one available. Maybe it is better that I used a premium quality alkaline battery rather than a lesser known one often supplied by manufacturers. Overall I find this is a good value.

Great Stud Scanner in my review

This is the first stud scanner I have ever been able to get an accurate reading with. Extremely easy to use and very easy to find center of the studs.
