Portable Computer Monitor Extender - 11.6" IPS, Compact, Foldable, 60Hz by Vodzsla Review

Before I start writing this short review of this product, I want to make a few discoveries. I am a general computer user with no experience in writing product reviews and have no affiliation with the company that makes Vodzsla portable monitors for laptops. Also, what I write is my personal opinion based on my observations after using this product for about two months. This review does not cover all aspects of this product. This is a half length review aimed at my mobile colleagues who just can't work with a single screen. Short version: BUY. Long version: I have a home office and a work office, 5 screens each, all powered. on my laptop so using a screen when I'm out is just a problem. I bought it to be able to work remotely while traveling. My work requires multiple screens to share and review information from multiple applications at the same time, which is not easy without one or more additional monitors in addition to the one on my laptop. It takes a bit of trial and error to figure out which combination of cables and power supplies works best, but once set up it's stable and works well.

I bought these screens to be able to work from home while maintaining a high level of productivity. The screens work great with my 13" MacBook Pro. Setup was very easy, just plug and play. I changed the settings on each screen to make the font size slightly larger (but that's just my preference). I have also took a trip with my keyboard and mouse and really enjoyed it. This article helped me move my office space from my home office to my bedroom when I had leg injuries and couldn't walk much. I was able to get work done from the comfort of my own bed while still having enough screen real estate to complete my work tasks while working remotely. Definitely a lifesaver! - Screen size is good - Brightness is decent - Picture is good - Connecting the cable might take some work but if you have an HDMI cable connected to your TV you should be able to figure it out

This monitor does a great job when you need to work from your desktop. Pros: The cable system is really great. I have a Macbook Pro, so I only need to bring the two USB-C cables that came with it. I like that it works and has input options, USB or HDMI with a power connector when external power is HDMI. The choice is wide when working with wiring. I have 1 clone to another external monitor attached to a flexible tablet holder. It's up to my face. And the other is connected directly to my computer. I bought it primarily for business trips to make it easier to get back to the hotel in between trips. Used on Dell Vostro 5391 (13"). Expander screens reduced their displays quite a bit instead of using all the real estate even at the recommended resolution, which was disappointing. Working from home proved to be quite a challenge, especially considering how little I could get done on a monitor. Finding Vodzsla was a lifesaver! I could finally work on the porch or in the park without sacrificing screen quality! I highly recommend these monitors if you travel a lot or just want a change of scenery. I had to return the first one because I couldn't get it to work with my laptop. There were no problems with the return. I really wanted a triple monitor so I bought a better laptop. I love it. I borrowed this from a colleague in our SOCAL office and had to have it immediately. By far the best value for money for those working with multiple screens. The screens are smaller, but that's the point. I work with two 22-inch screens on my desk at home and got used to downsizing very quickly. Very happy with my purchase of a triple 11.6 portable monitor. Definitely met, if not lived up to expectations. There was no problem connecting the laptop to my Lenovo T480 via USB-C and USB connections. The monitors fold easily to fit in my backpack and when folded they are about the same size as my laptop.
