Description of Wagan EL2546 Solar E Cube 1500

5 solar panels (16 Watts each) unfold and slide out from the power cube. 1500 Watts AC inverter (3600 peak surge power): 2 AC outlets to power appliances such as radio, portable stereo, laptop computer, television, microwave, conventional refrigerator/freezer. 2 USB power ports (5 Volts 2.1 ampere total) to charge/operate iPad/tablet, Kindle/e-reader, MP3 player, cell phone, laptop, etc. plus 2 DC 12 Volt outlets. Includes AC and DC adapters to recharge its 55 AH AGM/gel hybrid battery. Does not require any extra assembly; this all in one ready to use solar cube is ready to use out of the package, plus it can be expanded with additional solar panels and/or batteries if more power is required in the future

arrived damaged: my feedback

Just received my solar cube and the unit itself seems very nice. Unfortunately it arrived with the top housing cracked. Customer service offered a new top housing which would require taking the top of the unit apart and putting it back together again-- but said the location of the crack should not effect (sic) the device operating. So since I don't want to remove 15 screws, disconnect the solar panels, change the housing, reinstall the solar panels and screw down the 15 screws again, I guess…

  • LOVE it. Everything is in one unit. Portable, compact.

  • Not compatible with some devices due to limited output capacity

ebay made good on it as always however the second one came .

I am giving this only 2 stars mainly because it does not seem to be made very well. I think it will give me the power I am looking for. I am not expecting much out of it. With that said the first one I received was severely damaged. The whole casing was cracked. It appears to be working though. ebay made good on it as always however the second one came with a broken handle. No where near as bad as the first one but still damaged. I did not call amazon on this one. Figured they would get tired…

Unit not working on my review.

No, unit stopped working about a week ago and will not turn on. Need to call Wagan receive direction needed to solve problem

RE: WAGAN 2547 POWER CUBE - WORKED LIKE A CHARM

I just wanted to put in my two cents . I actually bought the "Wagan Tech 2547 Solar e Power Cube 1500 Plus" back in 2014, and apparently it has been updated and is no longer listed here on ebay. We just recently had the longest power outage since we moved here to NC, of 15 hours. This was the first time we actually had to use the power cube. We charge it every 90 days. After 3 hrs of outage, I plugged in each of our 2 refrigerators for 1.5 hrs each, Then after another 3 hrs, I did the…

Great idea but it’s s huge waste of money

I wouldn’t buy this. Great idea but it’s s huge waste of money. If you ever need power in an emergency. Do you think the sun will even be out? Most likely not. Also an e1500 generator weighs less and isn’t even noisy.

Product came damaged/cracked, also has black marks and handprints all over it. Definitely came used but I thought it would be new.

It quit working after a year and a half. Will not deal with this company again. Will stick with name brands. Thanks for attention.
