I redesigned our old chest of drawers with beautiful wood-look contact paper and bought this set to go with it. I've already finished a large dresser and haven't even had to change the blade. Works perfectly! I only used a smaller soft felt edge scraper as the other large plastic scraper scratched the paper. The soft edge works beautifully! I would recommend this kit, it helped me a lot with my project!

Everything is fine with this product. It did the job but could be better. The red and blue tools are plastic which makes the paper tear resistant, but the cutting blade got stuck every time I used it to cut a straight line. Also, the role is too hard. They make silicone, much better. The knife was sharp and comes with an extra blade which is handy. Also, the blue tool has a felt backing and makes it easier to smooth the paper. So. Two pluses and two minuses

Worked very well with wallpaper (wallpaper) for the first time. The only reason I gave it a lower star is because the red blade thing never worked, the blade didn't slip and the reel was har plastic which was of little use. The only thing we used was a blue scraper, a red flat for cutting direction and a knife for cutting. Just these 3 were more than enough. It would be better if they just sold them at a slightly lower price. That's my two cents. But the kit works so I'm happy.

I used this tool kit to make a kitchen apron using glue and the squares were 12" x 12". This is a very sticky material to work with. The blue smoothing tool was my lifesaver, preventing bubbles under the squares and having to rip leaves off the wall to redo them. The blade was simple but effective in use. I didn't actually use the red tool that much because the blue one helped, especially with the felt edge, but I'm sure I'll use it in the future. Spend $6, it's worth knowing you're using it.

I am buying a second set. The blue velvet edge smoothing tool is my favorite, it doesn't damage the material and is very accurate. I've used red for large areas and it works well, but with the knife again I was terribly disappointed because it's not strong and hugs everything, when trying to cut in a straight line the blade often moves and the line gets almost everything right... 🤦🏻‍♀️ Even slow movements and trying to tighten the blade don't really work, it was the same in both sentences…

This is a great little kit, although I found that a precision knife wasn't good for cutting fairly large rolls of vinyl with precision (it should have included a larger tool - I used a box-shaped one ). Switchblade cutter Irving - my transition to a homemade cutter). It's like the little hammer Evelyn gives Rick in The Mummy when he needs a much bigger crowbar to open a door; more suitable for work. The other flat plastic pieces worked great to route the self-adhesive vinyl I used without air…
