These are great little waterproof boxes. Maybe you could bury something in there in the backyard and everything would be fine. If I use it on a kayak I'm glad I did. would recommend.

I bought this box to make a light control box for a dollhouse I am building for my grandchildren. I was able to drill through and add 12 switches on the top with no problem and it has enough room for all the wiring.

I love this box. I can pierce it without worrying about it tearing. Not brittle like Bakelite and other more rigid boxes. Exactly what I needed. Weather protection is good. I haven't tested full submersion, but it drains water normally.

I have been using the smaller outdoor raculety boxes as low voltage junction boxes. This large box is used as the main junction box by the transformer. The only point of criticism so far is that the lid screws of the box rust, although they should be made of stainless steel. Have the smaller boxes become rusty? It seems they must be from the same source.

Managed to fit two Blue Sea Class A circuit breakers and a terminal block with room for a 10 AWG primary wire. The smooth surface of the relatively soft plastic scratches easily, resulting in a not-so-pleasant aesthetic. The plastic walls are strong enough to withstand wire sealing and hold screws. The gasket that provides the water seal does not inspire confidence.

Great box! I used 2 of these to house the backs of 2 Journeyman-Pro 5279 15 Amp 120-125 Volt, NEMA 5-15 Flanged Outlets to protect them from damage while still allowing access to them. I drilled a hole for the romex plug and for the socket. Perfect depth for this purpose! My rig wasn't in a wet spot so I didn't use the included rubber pad but I would use it for a wet spot without hesitation. Well built for both situations. I highly recommend.

Includes a grommet that fits in the groove around the hole - it should be waterproof (although in many cases you will need to drill a hole for wiring). Four corner screws fit high quality threaded brass taps but they are cumbersome when you need to access the contents to always remove the 4 screws.
