WEN DPA2412T Drill Press Adjustable Review

You can spend hundreds of dollars on a drill table, but why? All drill tables are pretty basic - widen the table a bit and you've got protection to press onto. WEN DPA2412 table is easy to install and good quality right out of the box. Closes tight and gives me everything I need. I gave 4 starts because the up/down grip of the drill was disrupted. I've moved the table to the left so the drill's handle can clear the knowledge/fence, but if that's a nuisance I center the table and drill new holes

This is a very good product. Of course you can make your own using T-rails and 1" foil. However, it is well covered with melamine on the wear surfaces. The surface that comes in contact with the drill table is a bit slippery, so you need a strong clamping pressure, to secure the table. They come with two hinge clamps that can be positioned on either side of the drill table and attached from underneath to two sets of holes. I bought a WEN drill table because I wanted to pair it with my WEN 4214 12 inch variable speed drill and because it was one of the cheapest tables on the market like most WEN products. I've been using it for a year and a half now, so I feel like I'll write a review of actual usage over time. Be warned, the T-track will separate from the MDF. This table is perfect for the woodworking workshop. This is the perfect size for my Ryobii DP102L. Installation on a standard metal table took about 2 minutes. The clamps that come with it seem to hold it very securely. It arrived with a few nicks on the edge of the laminate, but I'll make more of this as I work. The edges are nicely rounded. Received this table tonight and installed it on my WEN drill press. I liked how easily it attached to my drill press table and was very secure. During assembly I noticed that the head of the end screw is not flush in the left T-track so I used a screwdriver to tighten it. He had moved out. After putting everything together I wanted to try out my new T-Track clamps. They wouldn't fit in T-Track. My bench sander is right next to my drill press, so I just sand the edges until they fit.
