I got this because the nerds in my apartment building don't know how to make a kitchen sink sprayer that completely shuts off the flow of water from the faucet when it's on. I'm not a plumber, but I know that if I knew how to turn off the faucet, the pressure in the syringe would be higher. It does exactly that. I like this concept as it would be very useful in our caravan. I thought it was one of the more expensive offerings and it will affect the quality.
