Nothing works on this unit which is confusing because all the other reviews are so positive. I've tried all four probes in various combinations with all four connectors and none of them gave a reading. Every once in a while one of the sensors will read 572˚, which is the maximum temperature the unit can read - obviously unrelated to the turkey patties in my oven or anything else outside of the unit - and the thermometer will sound an alarm.
