Wolverine F2D20 20MP 35mm to Digital Converter

I decided to try this device after reading the mediocre reviews about it. Revain users didn't rate most similar devices very well, as did almost all of the much more expensive "professional" scanners. I had a real slide and film scanner from fifteen years ago, but the software drivers were never updated for Windows 7 and weren't available for Mac at all. This group of Wolverine does not use any software. It's inexpensive, portable, easy to use, and produces decent images from balanced slides…

It's fine, but a bit flaky and difficult to clean

If you look inside, it's actually pretty low-tech: just a light box with a small CCD and a lens (something like a webcam) and of course, a built-in "system” that controls focus, image capture, storage device, USB drive interface, image display, rotation, etc. However, it works well and gives usable results, unlike the flatbed scanner in my HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus. .When I first inserted a SanDisk SD card into the device, it was not recognized (although I have used the card in several cameras

Wrong unit received but still rated 5

I ordered this item in December 2014 and it arrived on time but was not used until mid January. While cleaning up my email inbox, I noticed that the color on the model I received did not match the color I was using. The model I received was yellow and the one I ordered was red. The yellow model cost $32 and changed less in price. I contacted Revain customer service and explained the problem and that I'd rather keep the unit I'm currently using than deal with packaging and shipping it back. The…

I couldn't find anything comparable locally. . .

We've been cursed with an overabundance of old 35mm carousel slides that have eaten up a lot of storage space. We were also "blessed" to be the treasurers of my wife's family slides. We had to reduce storage space and make copies for other family members. We tried the Walgreen conversion but it was expensive and the size was wrong. - The images were tiny on both the TV screen and the computer screen. I tried finding something at local electronics stores but what they asked for was to remove the

Everything is considered a decent digitizer.

PROS1. One of the smartest film digitizers. (Still quite expensive considering the construction and glitches.) 2. The images from the negatives look great to me. It has B&W and Color settings and outputs very high resolution. (Haven't tried slides yet.) 3. Portable. You don't need to connect it to your computer to use it, so you can sit and scan anywhere near a power outlet. (Requires an extension cord as the one supplied is short.) 4. Settings to adjust, flip and rotate negatives. However, if…
