Works as advertised. I use this to check Uniview IP camera placement. A super handy tool when installing PoE security cameras. It runs Android, which is pretty cool, and has Google Chrome so you can access web portals for your cameras (which is easy because this tool gives you their IP address). Very convenient! Will update later if something goes wrong, but so far everything is rocking.

This item does everything but lunch. It has a stable strap, Android OS, browser, TDR and more. I wanted to place my IP cameras on a scissor lift and not have to come back later. This recognized the 4MP IP cameras, displayed them and raced off. It also works with analog TVI, CVI and CVBS. Great product at a great price.

I used to buy IP CCTV testers for $5-$600 but decided to try this one. It worked great for my needs. Ordered 2 more for my other top techs and they love them too. It's a lot easier to hang on your wrist and focus than having a bulky big tester or using a laptop with a PoE injector. I bought a $18 4-year warranty for extra protection over poor build quality. 1 month and so far so good.

Obviously nobody checked this tester before sending it in, otherwise they would also see that it is DOA I have known good cameras of all kinds connected to it and no reaction or Advertisement. Composite BNC or Ethernet POE after more than 5 hours of charging. Even when the power supply was connected to the tester, it would not turn on. Unfortunately, I was looking for an inexpensive tester that could be used occasionally with BNC composite and ethernet cameras.

I looked for cheaper alternatives to this tester before settling on the tester with the most features for the money. All I really needed was a tester for an analog camera system, but I knew I would eventually test IP cameras. I have responded to customer reviews and felt I should check that out as well.
