I’ve bought dozens of various stretch laces since I started in triathlon in the late 90s. These have several advantages: 1. Easy to install; 2. Generous lace length for the occasional shoe that needs it; 3. Lace holder lies flat on the shoe; 4. Big lace end that stays put when you tuck it under the laces; 5. Lots and lots of colors; and 6. Price in the same ranges as everyone else’s. I think I’ll get there from now on as long as the price stays relatively reasonable.

These things answered prayers for me.I like to keep my shoes just loose enough I can slip them on/off without tying. Slip-on's basically. Well I’m impressed! These were easy to install and have great a stretch. I have narrow feet and I’m happy now that I can just slip these on and go without all the extra adjustments. There was even enough lace left that I could do another pair with less eyelets of course. Perfect, now to see how durable they are.

I bought these for my boots. It's winter time, so I can't wear my slip-on shoes anymore. A few things: Don't expect to use these all the way laced to the top for boots. You can, but it's difficult to get into you may as well use normal laces. I found lacing these up to the neck is about as far as you'll want to go. Fine for my Sketcher ST boots. I use a long-handled shoe horn to put them on due to back issues. That makes me a 'set it and forget it' guy. The wife, however, uses the quick release feature on her Sketcher trainers and I had to keep reinstalling the little plastic clamp that holds the ends of the laces together at first. She seems to have worked it out though, as I haven't had to mess with hers for months. Tip: maybe one shouldn't use the clamps for handles when snugging up the laces if one…

This is the 5th or 6th pair of these I’ve purchased. I love them for my own shoes, but they are great for my kids as they make their shoes easy to slip on and off and at 4 and 6 they can tighten and loosen them up easily. I had a slight issue with this order (the end piece fell off a day after I put it on/ possibly user error) and they immediately responded to my request for a replacement part.
