A little sticky. makes a great gift

Was a little sticky but the instructions say baby powder should be used to make it less sticky. He got stuck on the mini rolling pin that came with the kit. I didn't have them because I don't have them. Luckily I remembered I had a Mini that I had had for years. Without baby powder I wouldn't know what I could use. It would just be sticky mush. Fortunately, that was not the case here. After using the baby powder it helped a lot. Printing was easy after we did the Baby Corporate. It took about 2

Not easy to use, best for making hand and footprints

I couldn't make my decoration because the marshmallow couldn't stand up to the impression. We tried flexing and unrolling it again as directed 10 or more times to solve the lack of impression problem. We tried to make it thick, medium and thin. Every time we pressed our child's hand against it (sometimes very, very hard) the imprint would swell up again and it seemed like there was nothing or almost nothing there and you couldn't tell it was a hand. In the end, the substance looked deformed and

Doesn't work, buy another brand!

This brand is bad. I bought 11 and they are ALL bad. I bought another brand last year and we had so much fun making handprints for Thanksgiving and each took one home for their Christmas tree. This year another brand (with a bear on the label) sold out so I bought 11 of them. BIG MISTAKE! They don't roll out and we can't get baby handprints on them. We've already opened them all up and started the assembly line, so I'm stuck on them now. I thought I could roll them out and dry them andโ€ฆ

Changed Product Quantity

I've been buying it for my grandparents for 5 years as a Christmas/Remembrance gift. Every year has been good except this one. They must have changed the amount of clay because this year it was barely enough for my 2 year old's hand. Another boy of mine could make his grandparents' jewelry until he was 5 years old, before clay ran out. Also you usually get 2 rings, one big and one small, this year we only got the big ring. In no case was it possible to sculpt a large one out of clay this yearโ€ฆ

"Serves its purpose. " But.

The top is exactly the same set of handprints you can buy from Pottery Barn Kids but at a much lower price! It works, but I'd say it's more suitable for older kids. Trying to get a reasonably good cast of my 15 month old was a very difficult task - you have to press really hard to get a good cast, which is hard to do with small hands. It's not very big though (which I like as a decoration) so it would be difficult to get the handprint of a child older than say 2 years old. I followed all theโ€ฆ

Favorite Holiday Tradition

Have been buying them for 3 years now. I get a set for each of my sons to give to their grandparents. My boys are 3 and 4 now so this will be the 4th set. I've tried other versions, but they're so quick and easy I keep coming back to them. The marshmallow will be a little sticky, but you only need to roll it out big enough for your child's hand to fit all the way in when you squeeze. After rolling, push the palm print inward. Be careful with dirty fingers as they show up on stark white clayโ€ฆ

A very simple way to impress for a long time.

This is the third time I've used marshmallow clay to make my cat's paw prints. It couldn't be easier. The product instructions are clear and very easy to use. It's easy to impress, even with a cat (cats don't like having their feet touched). Anyway, it's too easy to impress. I usually get my fingerprint on the first try. No big deal, just knead again and roll out again. I will say that it can be difficult to get a smooth finish with the small rolling pin provided. Try using a full-size rollingโ€ฆ
