The connection of the solar panel is hot glued. 3 out of 4 didn't work out of the box. I pulled out my weed gun and fixed it. I also had to tape off the battery cover because of the rain. The solar panel should be protected from rain but light wind and wet batteries.

Once we installed them (2 at the gate and 2 along our 1000 foot driveway) ALL encroachment on our property stopped and our nosy neighbor didn't come into ours Backyard back WIN WIN!We know this because we already had hidden night vision trail cameras with motion detection all over our area.

Attention buyers. These cameras are garbage. They're not even store quality. Literally half of the "solar panel" fell off. Mounts are very cheap, made out of flimsy plastic that breaks at the slightest pressure. You will never work outside the building. These are for relief only. You get what you pay for here, it's definitely JUNK, JUNK, JUNK and JUNK.

Easy to install - just needs a drill and a ladder to install. I put in rechargeable batteries as other reviewers suggested which still seems to work (only 1 week so far). They seem to look pretty real because a neighbor asked me how hard they are to put in place. He noticed her because of the flashing red light at night. After 1 break we put them on as a deterrent (our dog used this feature but recently died). As long as they're great.

CHEAP CHARACTER! Quality control problems. I bought 4 of these cameras. I put batteries in them, made sure they worked, and then set about installing them. I climb the ladder, mount the bracket, fix the camera, but I can't tighten the screw to fix the camera. The camera just shakes. I go down the stairs to change the mounts of one of the three remaining cameras. It turned out that the adjusting screw on 3 of the 4 cameras had snapped off. I was able to install some parts to install the cameras.

This product is definitely worse, I didn't know I was buying it from China, or at least waited for it to come here from China. So I bought similar ones that have been here for three days. They were decent waterproof, felt good. And today these dummy cameras showed up. I opened the box and found that it literally broke into pieces. I noticed another problem.
