Ink dries on second small sketch

I love these pens, how they feel on my sketchbook paper. However, the second 7x9" sketch cannot be mastered either. Not really worth buying. That's how they were 20 years ago. I hoped they improved. They didn't.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Expandable

Is the Pigma Micron 03 the best pen?

Beautiful pen. thicker than 02 by 50 percent. thinner than 05 by 40 percent. Nice neutral brown-beige pen filled with heavy black ink. the clip could be better. This works well for regular weights, but not so well for flannel shirt pockets.

Pros
  • A novelty in my collection
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Even young students can successfully use this ink.

I teach weekly online art classes for 5-10 year olds. We have created a colored paper/hatch pattern that is particularly sensitive to young people's hand stains. Everything was done EXCELLENT with no stains or tears.

Pros
  • Sakura's unique PIGMA ink is the world's first ink to combine both water-based and pigmented inks, producing vibrant colors that won't bleed through paper.
Cons
  • Power outlet required

Hardly holds ink!

I've been using these pens for several years now because I can't find another archival ink pen. However, I will NOT buy them again. I HAD ENOUGH! After buying them in packs of 3 or 4 I settled on a box of 12. In just one month I used all but 3. THEY ONLY HOLD INK, YOU CAN'T LEAVE THE CAP EVEN FOR A MINUTE WITHOUT FEAR. IT DRYING AND INK DRYING TOO LONG WITHOUT LUBRICATION. I hope to find another brand that writes on the back of photos without showing through and will last for many years.

Pros
  • Durable 0.3mm porous tip for consistent lines and excellent color reproduction.
Cons
  • Crumpled

I bought these 003 pens in 2019 and used them to draw zentangles and also found them useful for jotting down details in my check book. I still have one or two of these six sets but my eyes aren't what they used to be and the 0.15mm 003 line is now too stiff to see clearly so I have this time Bought this 03 0.35mm thick line - still very good but much easier for me to draw and write. I have bought other Sakura pens for other uses and am happy with them as well. Overall, I'm very happy with the…

Pros
  • Set of 3 black Pigma fineliner pens from Sakura.
