Spent the weekend camping on a lake. Friday's daytime temps were in the 60's so I had on regular socks. Over the course of the day the temps dropped down to the 30's by 8 pm. When I went to bed around 9 pm I took my socks off and put a pair of these Meriwool socks on and crawled into my intermediate cold weather military sleeping bag. I get now that you can’t use knives (or know you will have marks in the plates- the description was a little confusing regarding this).
