So I photograph wedding portraits, all sorts of things. I bought these because I have a Canon 50d and wanted to take the flash off the camera and put it where I need it. I looked at all the reviews, watched the videos and thought the price was right, do it. They are very easy to use, just open, insert batteries and attach. Ettl works great and is very easy to use. The case they came in is good with all the cables you could need. I already have skyports but they don't work. I've been using them for two months now, no problem shooting every time, you just have to watch your flash recycling time when shooting fast. The range of them is amazing and should be in your collection. The only downside is that you can't mount the flash on the transmitter's hot shoe, I think they were concerned about the weight when shooting portraits. It's so nice to control the light and place the flash anywhere. I also bought a pixel battery pack for my 580 ex 2, wow I can shoot forever and don't have to change batteries. This way I carry less equipment in between and can concentrate more on my creativity. Hi Sync works great.
