Review on Wireless Bluetooth Headphones with Mic, Micro SD Card 🎧 Slot, and FM Radio - Bluedio T2 Plus Turbine (Blue) by Pete Hahn

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Solid 4.5 stars for a good product - until it broke in 15 months

UPDATE: 9/10/2017 Bought the same unit again. After reviewing countless models, this is the best for those who want an FM radio as well as an SD card to store their own music. Like the latter, the battery is amazing. You should be aware that the instructions provided are inaccurate. . They worked on my old one, but not on my new one. You do NOT have to press ANY button to play an SD card or radio. Just press the wheel for a few seconds and the radio/SD card functions will start working. Use the power button only when you want to pair your device. UPDATE: 7/13/2017 I still support all the positives below, but this morning the headband snapped in half. (A plastic guide in the headband that keeps everything in place.) I tried putting it back together with super glue, but it didn't hold up with the bends I needed to put it on my head. Unfortunately, the warranty expired three years ago. months ago. ********************* I didn't get any free headphones or discounts so this review is really honest. I would give this headset a solid 4.5 stars and recommend it. The headset is comfortable to wear and the controls are convenient. The controls are left-handed (which surprised me), but I had no trouble getting used to them. There are multiple buttons so you don't have to bother with one button that performs 10 functions. FM radio reception is good...better than what my phone got with the FM app. The headset scans and finds FM stations, after which you have to scan from one to another without any prior settings. If you like switching between stations, that's impractical... but the alternative is to get a bigger, bulkier device to get presets. I prefer these as I'm mostly at the same station anyway. The SD card is a nice feature and allows me to listen to both radio and music without taking my phone with me. There is no playlist and the songs are arranged in the order they appear on the map. For me, that's an advantage because I don't have to fiddle with playlists at the gym...but if you need a playlist, you have to use a player with Bluetooth or a wired connection. noise protection works. The gym has a fairly loud music system and these headphones keep through all the noise without increasing the volume to uncomfortable levels. I can't rate the battery life yet. I'm still on my first charge after two weeks. The only thing I don't like is the lack of high frequencies in the sound. At first I thought they were bass heavy, but I think it would be more accurate to say they lack high frequencies. Pros: Good FM reception Convenient Intuitive controls Useful SD card Good noise cancellation Cons: No playlists No FM presets (which is pretty standard) No treble
