Review on MARLOWE. No. 103 Energizing & Refreshing Men's Body Wash - 16 oz, Including Natural Extracts of Aloe & Green Tea by Susan Klauder

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The hand pump is criminal!

This shower gel is a trick. Based on the high ratings I thought I was getting something great but ended up with a product that sucks, is poorly designed and just isn't worth the extra cost compared to other men's body washes on the market. I would like to add that I have been using Everyman Jack religiously for about 3 years in a row but for some reason the last 2 products I got from them smelled funny and I think they must have changed their formula. Let's start with the bad first. . The design of the dispenser is reminiscent of a hand soap bottle. It takes almost 7-8 presses, sometimes more, to get enough to go through my entire body and once you squeeze it slowly rises back up so you have to wait between each pump. This is a major downside compared to other products that get you exactly what you want with just a squeeze of the bottle. Also, it cleans very poorly. I immediately noticed that my armpits "smelled" towards the end of the day, even though I cleaned them pretty well with this soap in the shower every morning. This has never happened with the Everyman Jack or any other product I've used recently. Also, this shower gel really dried my skin out in the middle of summer, which is usually quite difficult. Well, I think it smells good and I think it's natural, but you never know. in these days. To sum it up, I really don't think it's worth the money, it's a "smaller" bottle than most other mill men's body washes and comparatively a lot more money. The bottle looks cool and they have a modern, minimalist design, but that's not enough to make me want to use them. I'll toss this in the back corner of the closet.

Pros
  • GREAT SMELL: The light, woody scent of Agarwood and Sandalwood will leave you smelling amazing all day long.
Cons
  • Something else
