Look I got it. These things seem like complete "as seen on TV" nonsense, which is probably backed up by a bunch of fake robot reviews. I mean look at this. But my wife suffers from regular migraines, and an ice pack wrapped in a towel and pressed against her temple is one of her surest ways to get relief. Since these things cost less than two cups of coffee at Starbucks, I figured it was worth the risk. The thing is, it really works. It's not a miracle cure or anything, but it absolutely helps her with migraines on both her temples and the back of her head. The texture of the roller is difficult to describe. It's a hard plastic, but when rolled it looks like a gel. This is very strange because the feeling when you just squeeze it with your fingers is very different than when you actually roll it. Body heat warms it up, and it's actually quite small), so you should probably plan on buying a spare roll for freezer storage (or just go with one of the spare-roll models). But trust the hype about it anyway. I don't know all the people who claim to have less swollen skin etc but people dealing with migraines should give it a try.
